After that “amazing race” moment of Nino and I on NAIA 3, we finally arrived in one of the cleanest countries in the world. I have to say that Singapore’s Changi International Airport is really impressive – clean, efficient and super-fast free wifi.
We stayed at Marina Bay Sands. The hotel has become an icon of Singapore since it opened in 2010. Our late night swim at their infinity pool was a fantastic welcome to Singapore. The view from the top was simply breathtaking and I’m glad that the hotel’s location is also convenient to nearby attractions.
The highlights of this trip include Universal Studios, Gardens by the Bay, Sentosa Island, fusion food hunting and of course, a little bit of shopping. 🙂 First time to shop at Uniqlo and I love their clothes, I think they have best small fit for my size. Haha! This trip was actually relaxing compared to my previous travels
It’s not possible to do Singapore justice in our 3- day stay. I was really impressed about the cleanliness of the city and their modern skyscrapers. Despite all the developments, the roads are lined with beautiful old trees, wild plants and flowers. I hope 10 years from now Philippines will be like Singapore in terms of cleanliness and the discipline of the people. Overall, Singapore was a welcome break from the chaos of Manila, but you really need hard cash here since it’s very expensive city.
