The Grand Canyon

My inability to properly read maps was put on display when we journeyed from Page, Arizona to the south rim of Grand Canyon National Park. We were forced to look at the Atlas that I brought with me when our GPS couldn’t give us an alternative route to the US 89 highway in Page which was closed. Thank goodness Nino was great at reading maps!

I’ve already visited the Grand Canyon once before but it still didn’t fail to take my breath away when we got there. Think about the millions of years of erosion, earth-folding and meandering water that carved out this majestic and awe-inspiring natural wonder. Just goes to prove that Mother Nature is one seriously gifted artist! πŸ˜›

We stayed there for two nights so we got to enjoy a relaxing sunset just admiring the canyon with all the layers of cliffs in different hues of orange and gold. It was pure magic! Enjoy the photos! πŸ™‚
